These monastery is practically destroyed and the remains of vaults, arches and walls of more than one meter wide are observed. This was the set for filming the scenes of the earthquake shown at the beginning of the movie ‘The Border’, starring Jack Nicholson, Harvey Keitel, Valerie Perrine and Warren Oates,.
